Prior to entering into advanced practice nursing, Lindsey worked as a registered nurse at an inpatient psychiatric hospital providing behavioral and medical care to children, adolescents, and adults with a range of psychiatric diagnoses and mental health needs. As a nurse practitioner, she has prior experience practicing at multiple substance use treatment facilities helping clients throughout their recovery journey, including medically-assisted detox, residential treatment, partial hospitalization, and intensive outpatient programs.
Her primary areas of interest are working with clients and families struggling with addiction, as well as anxiety disorders, mood disorders, obsessive-compulsive disorders, and PTSD. She has a wide array of training and experience providing trauma-informed care to Veterans and first responders, as well as to survivors of child abuse, sexual assault, exploitation, and domestic violence. She enjoys serving the community and has experience volunteering with National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI), SAFE Alliance, Austin Children’s Shelter, Coats for Kids, Divine Canines, and Ronald McDonald House Charities of Austin and Central Texas. She is an active member of Psychiatric Advanced Practice Nurses of Texas.

Yes. We are currently in-network with Aetna, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Cigna, Optum, Oscar Health, Oxford, and United Healthcare. Once your appointment is booked, Lindsey will provide you with instructions about adding your insurance and payment details. We use Headway to manage all of our billing services so our time and focus can be spent more on our work together. Headway will make things as easy as possible for you in regards to insurance, billing, or account questions. You'll be able to see your copay before the appointment, and check your benefits at anytime.

If you will be using insurance, cost per session is based on individual insurance plans. If you plan to pay privately, rates are as follows:
Initial Psychiatric Evaluation - $250
Follow-up Appointment / Medication Management - $150 per session
You must cancel or reschedule your appointment at least 48 hours in advance. Failure to cancel or reschedule within this time will result in a $75 fee.
Very sparingly and only when medically appropriate. I do not prescribe stimulants such as Adderall, Vyvanse, Focalin, etc.
